  • Oil extracted from the sands of Canada (sandy oil) costs $50-$60 more per barrel. It's interesting to note that nearly 2/3 of the oil from Alaska goes to Asian countries. The pipeline from Canada would provide $250/bbl oil in 10 years. It ain't just the EPA and Obama stopping it.

  • Not surprised. Why shouldn't one infadel support another? If Nixon were alive today he would also endorse Gingrich. A real divider. Nixon did more to divide this nation than any other political leader in history, and after 4 decades still sharply divided.

  • A friend of mine who just got out of the Navy and who trained submarine crews said this so called "new" sonar is 20 year old technology, and just like the space shuttle, conducts the same old experiments year after year.

  • Why does some guy named Bernanke have the power to decide what is an acceptable (2%) inflation rate? Every time it goes above 2% the FEDS sound the alarm and shout "the sky is falling!" Then out of panic and fear they raise the rates cooling the economy, plunging us right back into recession.

  • Hard to believe L.A. dropped out of first place. I had no problems with NYC, of course I didn't live there but sure was exciting. Chicago is among my favorite of the big cities, but in the end I still appreciate cities no bigger than Milwaukee or Tulsa.
